| The Alduria First Movement recently tried to utilise their control over a nuclear device to threaten the people of Alduria. Given this recent development, I, Fredérick Varanzý, LYA Leader, proposes the following motion: 1. That the Alduria First Movement are declared MURDERERS, and ENEMIES OF THE PEOPLE. 2. That all associates of said movement are to be revealed and brought into the sunlight by the authorities. 3. That the Imperial Government is granted executive powers for a five year period to strengthen the resolve of the Aldurian state in dealing with these scums. We are talking about a domestic terrorist group with connections to a religious movement which has threatened to KILL MILLIONS of our countrymen.They have repeatedly targeted politicians, public servants and the imperial family, and they hold no respect for democracy, integrity or civility. I Repeat, they have made it clear that they are ready to use nuclear terrorism to achieve their goals. Who will dare to say that is not murder? Who will dare to tell the Aldurian people and the Aldurian Imperial Legions that is not murder? Who will vote against this motion? |

| Message | I don't like the sound of this. I don't like the sound of basically being told that if I disagree then I am somehow lesser. I don't like the sound of being called out. I don't like the sound of power being transferred for five years. There have been too many governments who have used situations like this, used people's fears, for their own means and gains. Too many governments who have permanently extended their special executive powers. I do feel that retribution should be exacted on those responsible, but I and my party could not in good conscience vote for this bill. |

The Constitution was ready for this, and now it is being put to the test. For Alduria we must prevail. |
