Message | We should have seen this coming as we voted for withdrawel from the two treaties noted in Bill 0. While the DFP voted for the measure because of the cost of following a treaty ratified by so few nations; we never would have guessed the TNP would steep so low as to even SUGGEST the mass privatization of education of young children. We condemn this bill as and the TNP, who think more of profit than the well-being of this nation's children. |

Message | Having the government manage the education system offers no guarantee of quality. Besides, we've made provisions for Dorvik's poorest, so what's the harm in this? |
Date | 22:14:48, March 03, 2008 CET | From | Dorvan Socialist Union | To | Debating the Dorvik Privatization Act II |
Message | and the TNP would say education is better in private hands? The DSU finds the notion of individuals makeing money out of childrens education unpalatable. Secondary to this the standard of education a child receives would not be decided by their academic merit but by their parents wealth thus massively damageing social mobillity and meritocracy in Dorvik. |

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there. |
Random quote: Time and again, the police prove themselves to be the Class Enemy, an armed mob used to oppress the masses and maintain the wealthy in their privileges. ~Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
