Bill: Cabinet Proposal of January 2541

Details

Submitted by[?]: Rightful Radical Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2541

Description[?]:

This cabinet between LPNN-RP-RRP must be formed. We have the majority and no other deal is possible. Our government is empty. This same bill was lost because of LPNN didn't respond, but when they do, this bill will pass!

MessageAll that is needed here is for the LPNN to respond. We will patiently wait for them.

MessageWe are not against a government composed of the aforementioned political parties. However, we prefer the Cabinet Proposal of January 2540 or a variation thereof. We are willing for someone else to hold the Prime Minister position as long as we are included in the Cabinet.

Additionally, we are willing to reduce the number of seats we'd hold in the Cabinet if we held on to the Ministry of Finance. If a cabinet is proposed that resembles the Cabinet Proposal of January 2540 we will gladly vote in favor.

MessageBut, my dear Thorden Raxney, you refused to accept the Cabinet proposal of January 2540 while you were given the majority of places. All we need now is for the LPNN to respond. They are currently away, but we just need their verification that we will get.

MessageI hate to contradict a fellow member of Parliament but Mr. Krkjus is not completely accurate. I was completely in favor of the Cabinet Proposal of January 2540. As to using a phrase like "were given the majority of places" an implication is made that a majority is not appropriate. I am not one to say whether or not CAM is more deserving than another party of numerous ministry positions. However, CAM has steadily been the prominent and most populous political party in Telamon since 2505.

I have led CAM since 2505 and for the past 36 years we have served Telamon as its largest party. We have worked to bring parties closer together, to fight injustice, and to return Telamon's eye to solving the problems at home. We have always been committed to working with any party for the benefit of Telamon.

Minister of Finance Jaxx managed to sway party members, against my judgment, to vote against the Cabinet Proposal of January 2540. That situation will not be repeated.

CAM has never sought to be an enemy of any other political party. Does the Rightful Radical Party wish to force a position of animosity on CAM? By excluding CAM and the TNCP from any cabinet proposal 363 members of Parliament (spread amongst 2 parties) will be forced into an opposition coalition. That is enough to prevent key legislation from passing. Whereas including CAM bolsters a majority coalition from 387 seats (spread amongst 3 parties) to 637 seats (spread amongst 4 parties).

As the Conservative Adeptus Mechanicus Party Leader I am here to say that I will ensure that CAM votes in favor of a cabinet proposal resembling the Cabinet Proposal of January 2540.
