Bill: OOC: Choose a Color for Your Party

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Ordo Malleus (COM)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2542

Description[?]:

This is an OOC bill. It is helpful if every party chooses a color for their political party. Having no color chosen (as with the RRP and Republican Party) means the map shows up black.

I propose this. That your color match the spectrum of your ideology. CAM is a conservative ideology and for most of the world the conservative party uses a Blue shade. Liberal ideologies, such as Communism, use a Red shade. This is reversed in America.

As such, any conservative parties should change their color to a Blue shade, liberal parties should use a Red shade, Independents should use a different color such as Purple, Green, Orange, or Yellow.

This will help everyone to, at a glance, tell the ideology of the party by its color. Plus, it gives an idea of who may vote similar to you or against you. Lastly, it has the benefit of creating nice looking maps on the election results.

I realize it seems silly to make an OOC bill. However, I've seen other nations do this for bookkeeping reasons such as establishing a methodology for the colors of political parties.

MessageOCC: One information: the RP and RRP have colors but in Mozilla Firefox they aren't visible. When you open this page up in the IE you clearly see the color of the RP and the RRP changed its color to a one visible in the Mozilla Firefox.

MessageOOC: Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, as a Mac user, I am immune to the evil's of MSFT's IE. The closest I come is Safari. I checked the colors in there and they don't show properly in the old election maps. Your info is much appreciated.

MessageOOC: I use Windows but, yeah, even in the IE there is that election problem. When I quit IE I found that in Mozilla I can't see my color (it's white) so I just deleted the spaces in that field for the color and the color showed.

Random fact: When your party holds the foreign affairs department, you can create new treaties. However, before writing anything new, it is a good idea to search for existing treaties which already accomplish what you desire.
