Bill: Democratic Representation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Mouvement des Conservateurs

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2110

Description[?]:

Fellow members of the National Forum,

(IC:)

Article 3:
We would like to increase the seat representation or electable seats for the following 2 reasons:

+ A democratic representation: 1 Seat for 250,000 inhabitants -- which gives us 190 seats.

+ Give smaller parties a change to make their vote count.

I ask the permission of the National Forum to expand our seats from 100 to 190.

(OOC:)

Article 1 & 2: To prevent things like bill spamming as happened with the UETP (please delete party)

MessageI'd prefer a nice round number. So keep at 100, unless people want to double it to 200.

MessageNo other comments, I'm putting this to vote.
If there are objections against the number of seats, just vote against the proposal.

MessageYou could have just set it to 200, I'm gonna have to put a 200 vote up after this passes due to inactivity.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
