| My brothers and sisters, the plight of the working man is the plight of the government. And there comes a time when concessions must be made to save the working class. There exists upon us this day a grave and terrible sin, one that must never be overlooked. This blotch upon our perfect Revolutionary goals is the destruction of the Vintalli peasant. Here in Vintalli lies the working man, here in Vintalli do we see destruction and discrimination, and this must stop. As a joint movement between the ministers of finance, trade/industry, and environment/tourism. We see that it would be in our best interests to propose a move for a semi-autonomy for the people of Vintalli. This resolution purports that: -Vintalli will be known as Vintalli, Region of Special Subservience (hereafter referred to as Vintalli RSS) -Vintalli will be governed locally by the Vintalli Seperatist Alliance, but must comply with certain government regulations as agreed upon by the alliance. -Vintalli citizens will be granted dual citizenship, and the restrictions and privileges of Vintalli citizenship will be agreed upon at a later date. -Vintalli may enjoy the right to name the cities upon the island as it sees fit. -Vintalli may also enjoy the right to protect its culture as it sees fit. However, under these, and other conditions (to be discussed at a later date), Vintalli must agree to remain part of the Nation of Gaduridos unless it is seen that Gaduridan cruelty has reached a level that breaches the cruelty allowed by the constitution of our nation. Also, under this resolution may it also be seen that: -Vintalli must pay tariff on all exports outside of Gaduridos, but may trade with Gaduridos tariff free -Vintalli may not pass laws that would be seen as discriminatory towards other Gaduridan races. -No Vintalli political party may run for the office of Head of State (currently known as Benevolent Dictator), but must endorse another party that it sees as working towards its interests, however, Vintalli parties are under no restrictions to the number of seats they may hold. We hope that this resolution may enable our government to work more smoothly together and may bolster trade among all parties. Let all workers unite to bring about a period of change in this nation, one that will make our nation one of glory and a paradise for all the downtrodden! |
