Message | This bill is a bad idea. Cars need roads, which take up a lot of space that could be occupied by nature. They encourage suburban sprawl, which destroys nature, creates places without much of a sense of community, and requires people to drive to get anywhere. Why do citizens deserve the right to own vehicles? |

Message | Malivia for centuries had roads which still exist today, although they are in disrepair. A country that only utilizes mass transit and that is large creates an inefficient system. |

Message | For most of Malivian history we were car free. Although there have been periods where cars have benefited us, at the moment being car free is great for our tourism image, the environment, and our overall energy prices. In addition, not making new roads will make it harder for the Indralan army to attack us, if it ever chooses to do so. -Gregory Webb, Secretary of Transport, Supporters of Science in Design |

Message | Car free? What history are you trying to claim? OOC: My party existed way back in the the early Malivian days before I finally quit this game and we weren't car free as you are trying to claim. |

Message | OOC: Not in the early days, perhaps, but for much of the Protectorate's dominance. There's info on the wiki. |
