MessageAnd as for NCU, you should reconsider our first proposal, since in this one you are losing ministeries. And in our proposal you had Foreign Affairs, Internal Affairs, Finance, Education and Trade & Industry, very powerfull ministeries.

MessageBut the Communists receive as many government seats as our party, including the influential Justice Ministry. The NCRP will be stifled from using their positions effectively in a DLA-led government.

MessageHow come? As prime minister we have no intentions to interfere in other ministeries AND we have never done such thing in the past, as you can remember when DLA and NRCP were working together in cabinet before.

MessageThe DLA will certainly block the Justice Department's entire agenda in the Parliament to the best of their ability, as they did before.

MessageAnd Loyalists are trying to force everyone to be part of Workers Unions against their will, as they did before.

Populism is fun, isn't it?

MessageThat was a position taken by the Metzinger chairmanship thirty years ago. The DLA really is mired in the fights of the past, unable to look at how to work towards a better future for Darnussia.

MessageAnd the issue really was a bit more complex than that. No one could be forced to join a union, but employers could be required to hire union members in industries with histories of unfair treatment for workers.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: "The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect
