Bill: Income tax proposal of October 2544

Details

Submitted by[?]: Constitutional Monarchy Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2545

Description[?]:

The Whig Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the United Kingdom of Beluzia and Bailon.

We are nearly at the stage whereby income tax can be abolished altogether. For the short term, the Finance Minister would like to continue to tax the rich, whilst completely relieving the poor of their tax burden.
