| "We have noted the current policy grants citizenship and allows people to serve in the military based upon racial/religious qualifications. We wish that we clarify this standard with the following bill." -Raamiah Galgenstrick, Chairman of the GJA >>Be it enacted by the Knesset of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu, the following provisions shall become law: 1)(A)The Jewish Homeland Code (JHC) shall be amended in article II (citizenship), section 1 (qualifications) such that one eligible to become a citizen of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu (SJHB) is one who either (a) meets all of the following: (i) has lived within the SJHB for at least four years, (ii) is not a national or citizen of a country that is considered an enemy of the SJHB, (iii) is not a follower of a religion that advocates or regards hatred against any Jews, and (iv) can speak fluently either English or Hebrew, or (b) is a refugee who meets the aforementioned (1)(A)(a)(iii) and (1)(A)(a)(iv) and has lived in the SJHB for at least ten years. Any current law or laws in contradiction with this legislation is/are automatically repealed and void. 2)(A)The Jewish Homeland Code (JHC) shall be amended in article III (military), section 2 (qualifications for entry) such that, in addition to the already stated qualifications, one eligible to enter into the military service of the SJHB is one who meets all of the following: (a) is not a follower of a religion that advocates or regards hatred against any Jews, (b) can speak either English or Hebrew fluently, and (c) is not a national or citizen of a country that the SJHB is at war with. Any current law or laws in contradiction with this legislation is/are automatically repealed and void. 3)(A)The Jewish Homeland Code (JHC) shall be amended in article II (citizenship), section 4 (expulsion) such that any citizen of the SJHB who at any moment is either (a) convicted of treason or (b) contradicts with (1)(A)(a)(iii) shall immediately have his/her/its citizenship revoked and (B), if the reason for such an action is (3)(A)(a), the full punishment for such a crime shall be brought upon said person/thing, or if the reason for such action is (3)(A)(b), said person/thing shall have a choice between either exile or psychological rehabilitation until (3)(A)(b) no longer applies to said person. Any current law or laws in contradiction with this legislation is/are automatically repealed and void. 4)(A)The Jewish Homeland Code (JHC) shall be amended in article III (military), section 3 (expulsion) such that if any member of the SJHB military contradicts either (2)(A)(a) or (2)(A)(c), said member shall be discharged from the service, and (B) if reason is (2)(A)(a), said member shall be granted a choice between exile or psychological rehabilitation until (2)(A)(a) no longer applies to said member, and if reason is (2)(A)(c), said member shall be exiled to his/her/its home nation. | Message | "Beginning with article 1)A)a)i) we object due to the necessity for an individual to "can claim ethnic Jewish ancestry within two generations". These laws we brought in to ensure members of cults, as defined by the Knesset, are not able to claim citizenship, not to ensure only Jews can claim citizenship. Whilst this is a Jewish Homeland built upon Jewish culturual and religious links it is not solely a nation for Jews and we must allow others, providing they adhere to our laws and customs, to claim citizenship. Also, question: if one were a Deist, would said person have to register as irreligious? And as for the objections, I have removed (1)(A)(a)(i) and renumbered the subsequent points accordingly. Our party did not specifically support basing citizenship on whether or not one is an ethnic Jew, but rather, thought it was the already status quo. | Message | "If one is not a member of one of the designated recognised religions but not a member of an unrecognised religion they must register as irreligious, if there are other religions you would like to see added to the recognised list, this can be discussed. As for Nrljomek Nrkmojadék Jlemoja or Progressive Darwinism as it is known when translated from Pntek it at heart atheism based around extreme importance on evolution yet this is not why it is banned. It is the faith system of the hardline Pntek movement that wish to see Pontesian control over much of Beiteynu and its very belief system is based on the idea that the Pontesian people have evolved further and are superior to all others thus attacks on Jewish or Beiteynuese people are not only excused but, we believe, encouraged. Progressive Darwinism is not darwinistic at all, and does not advocate a societal vision that any Charles Darwin we know would have envisioned. Progressive Darwinism is a faction of hate that spews a gospel of rage. On a different note, we wish to add Deism as a recognized religion. Deism is inherently an unorganized religion, but is distinct from irreligion nonetheless. And while humanism is not a religion, there are many charitable secular-humanist organizations.
