Bill: Grand Council Seat Expansion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federalist Party of Vanuku
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2548
Description[?]:
Vanuku is growing, and thus representation in the states needs to be increased. We, The Federalist Party move to increase the amount of seats per state by 5, bringing the total for each state to 20, and bringing the over all total of seats in the Grand Council to 100 seats. OK we have made a change: instead of increasing the seat count to 100, the Bill, if passed will now only increase the seat count to 95 total, with each state having 19 seats. |
Proposals
Article 1

Message | The problem here is the GC can then become 'Hung', divide 50/50. Seats should always be an odd number. apart from that we support any increase around this amount. say 95? giving each state 19 seats? |

Message | OK then we'll change it to 95, this sounds more reasonable. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
