MessageThe "Likatonian Friendship and Co-Operation Treaty" is still ratified by four other nations.

Why arbitrarily discard a friendship treaty?

MessageWe suspect the CLP of being Keymonese agents, sent to destroy our political order and, more specifically, this Treaty, in order to accommodate for forthcoming Keymonese aggression (which would otherwise contravene this Treaty).

We suspect the DWP are completely ignorant of our history and perhaps you should read up the wikia history of the CLP to see learn about our past with Keymon.

MessageResponse to the CLP:

A little harsh, perhaps? There is no guarantee (from the perspective of anyone OUTSIDE the CPL) that the current CPL are really the true successors of the 'old' CPL, now, is there? Is it not just as likely (again, remember perspective) that your little collective really ARE Keymonese agents, merely masquerading as a defunct Likatonian party? And - what better party to 'pretend' to be, than the (old) CLP?

It has to be said, withdrawing from a treaty like this could be perceived as just the sort of attack the DWP mentions.

MessageYep - It's still in the CLP platform that Keymon (or Western Meria as we refer to it) is rightly part of Likatonia.

MessageIt's hardly surprising that the DWP might perceive there being some kind of Keymonese connection, then.

It's not beyond belief that the CLP are an imposter party - pretending to be Likatonians seeking to expand into Keymon, but ACTUALLY Keymonese seeking a kind of Great Union.

MessageFriendship and co-operation? Grinding their armies to dust and conquering their lands, more like...

MessageOpting out of this treaty is a bad idea. It is also a very bad signal to send.

Opting out of a friendship and cooperation treaty is entirely likely to be perceived as an 'eve of war' move by foreign parties. This will do nothing to improve our standing on the world stage, or to allay the fears of nations around us.

MessageI think the Head of State should make a press release to the world about how great it is that this bill is going to pass.

MessageMore warmongering from the CLP.

And they have the gall to call the AM imperialists.

Nice collusion, there, too - joining forces with Okhranka and the AM LNF to force this kind of eve-of-war agenda, knowing that you will control both the Head of State AND the Foreign Office, giving the rest of us no international voice, and no external political recourse.

MessageWe don't know what you're talking about.

We have had no such negotiations with either the AN LNF or Okhranka - Faith brought us together!

MessageFaith? Don't make us laugh - the CLP clearly identified themselves as devilworshippers already, by opposing the One True God.

We refuse to believe your heretic ways were brought together with Okhranka's true belief, by faith.

Incidentally - saying too much... we said 'collusion'. The CLP have 'volunteered' the negotiation accusation.
