Voting deadline: April 2548
Description[?]:
This is an attempt to streamline the processing of PCA terrorists, and any dangerous affiliates they may have. It is essential that there be sufficient measure to prevent any recidivism from PCA militants, and to strongly (and categorically) address the possibility of (the PCA or) other groups following a similar path in future. The only penalty sufficient for the task, is the execution of those who committed acts of terror and treason. It's the only method 100% guaranteed to ensure no repeat offender. It is also essential to make this procedure as fast and effective as possible. Thus, where it is a matter of NATIONAL security, we suggest that police departments be allowed to suspend the usual laws against 'excessive force' in pursuit of vital information. Thus - we suggest a temporary motion that allows techniques that might be considered 'excessive' or (even) inhumane, where terrorists and traitors have vital information. The last essential, is that this procedure not stop up the Courts for a generation. As such, those CONVICTED of treason or terrorism, should be allowed only one recourse - a review by the highest judicial power in the land. Further appeal should only be allowed to jam up the legal system, (and cost the Likatonian taxpayer money) as and where the Minister of Justice decides the case has merit. All of these considerations are offered as purely TEMPORARY legislations. The AM SuDP themselves pledge to bring these issues back to the table for overturn, once all PCA terrorists and their enablers are processed, and justice is served. |

Message | Why has the Irish Party opposed? As far as we can tell - they've been entirely uninvolved with PCA action. We are also a little surprised by the opposition of the PFL "communists" - we'd have thought they'd have embraced the opportunity to establish themselves as distanced from the terrorists in the PCA. Now they appear to be attempting to appease them? |
