Message | Respectfully, The United Democratic Party is highly supportive of Article 1. It has long been a concern of our constituents that alcoholic beverages should not be available to minors. This proposal is something that our parties could work together to achieve in the future. However, we are regretfully against the passage of Article 2. Our party supports limited, regulated research in cloning technologies based on the belief that these technologies may someday be beneficial to this fine country. Our scientific experts have determined that solid progress is being made in the field of genetics and those we represent would like to see this fascinating process through. For this reason, it is with deep regret that I must declare the United Democratic Party's stance against the passage of this legislation. As stated before, we would be interested in working with your party to achieve Article 1, perhaps in a different piece of legislation. Sincerely, Party Chairperson, Hillary Rodham Director of Science and Technology, Jeffery Crask |

Message | Were it not for Article 3 we would be in strong support of this bill, but as The United Democratic Party stated we to support the research of cloning technology. |
