Bill: Denunciation of Surplus Treaties
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Radical Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2549
Description[?]:
Internationalism as a belief is all well and good, but there is no benefit to be derived from being the only party to a minor treaty which can just as easily be reflected in domestic legislation. We of course have no interest in suddenly becoming a major drug producing state, but we believe that there are other, more useful, ways to fight this problem should it continue to be one.: |
Proposals
Article 1
Withdraw from the The Anti-Yoj (Hard Drug) Treaty.
Article 2
Withdraw from the The Exportation of Yoj Treaty.
