"Our stances on freedom and civil liberties." -Raamiah Galgenstrick, Chairman of the GJA >>Be it enacted by the Knesset of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu, the following shall become law: 1)(A)A new section, "Section 1: Expression" shall be added to Article XV of the JHC, and it shall read: "1)(A)The right of citizens to assemble shall be free and unrestricted. (B)However, the leaders shall be responsible for any laws broken against any non-police or government parties, and (a) if any property damage is inflicted or any laws resulting in fines are broken, the leaders of the assembly shall pay these expenses in full, and (b) if any laws with non-financial punishments are broken, the leaders of the assembly shall be given the punishment for breaking these laws. 2)(A)The government shall not restrict the right of any private individuals to desecrate any flag. (B)However, the flag of the Sixth Jewish Homeland of Beiteynu shall not be used for advertising purposes." 2)(A)A new section, "Section 2: Sexuality" shall be added to Article XV of the JHC and it shall read: "1)(A)The government shall make no law with the intent to restrict or attempt to restrict the sexual actions between consenting people above the age of majority. (B)Furthermore, the government shall not restrict where and when these actions may be performed, shall not (C) prosecute anyone for public nudity, and (D) may not restrict the production and distribution of pornography depicting consenting adults. 3)(A)A new section, "Section 3: Marriage" shall be added to Article XV of the JHC and it shall read: "1)(A)The government shall cease and desist the recognition of the existence of the institution of marriage, may make no laws pertaining to marriage, and any laws that use the institution of marriage for any legal decisions shall no longer do so. (B)Instead, in all laws in which marriage was used as a legal determinant for any decision, cohabitation between any people for any period longer than five years shall be used instead. (C)A couple or group of people shall become cohabitants if they have (a) shared the same residence for more than four fifths of the time of a period of five years or more, and (b) on their census registration, each indicate that they wish to recognized as cohabitants by law. (D)Each person must specify the other resident(s) they wish to be a legal cohabitant with. (E)Any cohabitants may separate under the law by the signed consent of one of the cohabitants." 4)(A)A new section, "Section 4: Adoption" shall be added to Article XV of the JHC, and it shall read: "1)(A)The government shall not use marital/cohabitation status to decide who may adopt children." 5)(A)A new section, "Section 1: Medication and other Drugs" shall be added to Article V of the JHC and it shall read: "1)(A)No law or laws shall restrict the usage of any drugs by any citizens or nations of the Homeland, (B) although precautions may be put into place by the government to restrict the frequency of usage, the place of usage, and to require supervision for the usage of certain drugs. (C)The law shall not restrict medical facilities from the free administration of cannabis as medication for patients in serious pain." 6)(A)A new section, "Section 2: Euthanasia" shall be added to Article V of the JHC and it shall read: "1)(A)The government shall not restrict the right of anyone from euthanasia with the consent of that person and a doctor." 7)(A)A new section, "Section 3: Pregnancy" shall be added to Article V of the JHC and it shall read: "1)(A)The government shall not restrict the right of a woman to pursue an abortion." |
