Description[?]:
It is the view of the F.R.L. that the government ought have nothing to do with hiring policies in our proud capitalist market. Let private employers decide based off qualifications and not the color of one's skin. Furthermore, Unions ought not be allowed to run any business solely. Unions have tremendous clout and rights within Solentia and this is a small means to ensure a free and fair economy. |

Message | Regretfully, the U.D.P. cannot support this legislation. While we would be inclined to work with the F.R.L. in the future to pass Article 2, we cannot support Article 1, and thus we cannot support the bill itself. Regarding Article 2, we do not believe that the government should intervene in private companies' hiring methods. Under no circumstances should companies be forced to meet any sort of hiring quota. This inevitibly leads to the selection of underqualified minorities over those who are aptly qualified for the job. If this legislation were passed stand-alone, you would have our full support on the issue. However, regarding Article 1, the U.D.P. does not agree with your stance. We believe that private companies have the right to run their business in whatever manner they wish to do so. If a Democratic Workers' Council is effective for a certain business, who are we to prohibit them from using that system? Unfortunately, we simply will not stand for government intervention with regards to Democratic Workers' Councils. Again, we would love to work with the F.R.L. in the future to pass Article 2. Sincerely, Director of Trade and Industry, Jonathon Sandlin Party Chairman, Hillary Rodham |

Message | Respectfully, Our esteemed colleagues must be unfamiliar with the already overwhelming clout Unions have within the private markets. This has been a contentious debate for decades in Solentia and as the tide stands, Unions have considerable rights in nearly every avenue of work-related practices and freedoms therein to form and function as a unit. Democratic Worker's Councils are groups of people by law given the right to organize to better their conditions and lots in life when and if they are put in unfair or inhumane working environments. Quite sadly, as noble as this all sounds the reality is often less than up to par. It is the belief of our party and those of which have seen us into a larger stake in the legislature that the markets ought be ran by private citizens with minimal regulations by the federal government. DWC's are in function not business and not intended to be. We must end, before it is a crisis-the ability for DWC's to run and maintain their own business versus working within one for one. Signed, Party Chairman, Ulrich Naveed |
