MessageWe oppose every change exept decreasin the tax rate of the >600 LOD bracket. We support tax cuts for everyone, and think we should have a flat tax, so everyone payed the same amount of % of what they make in a income

MessageI understand your position and the fact that we have a surplus but by the way I see things and calculating the numbers I can see that the surplus will slowly decrease. With an increase in the budget, which I am pretty sure you agree it will increase at some point, you have to make up for the loss of revenue. If you decrease the tax rate of one group, you have to increase the rate of another. I understand you may not want to decrease the defense budget, that's ok with me but the corporation tax should be increased, besides it will increase at a very reasonable rate and very slowly. Remember wars take a toll on the economy. Please reconsider your position. Some times tough decisions must be made in order to keep the country stabalized.

MessageAccoring to the budget approved just a few moths ago, we DO NOT have a surplus anymore, we must increase taxes.

MessageCurrently our budget surplus is 1.8 billion LOD, so we dont need a tax increase. Also after the war I will propose lowering the military budget back to prewar levels, which means we will get a 45 billion LOD surplus and which means we can remove the unessecary corporation tax and lower the tax for everyone, both rich middle class and poor

MessageDo you consider 1.8 billion LOD a big surplus? What if we have an emergency? Do you know how long is the war going to last? The fact is that we don't know. Maybe the defense budget is too low, but the increase in the other department's budget is necessary. We need better science and better transportation. If you don't agree with the defense budget we can propose a revision of the budget. Let's try to work this out.

MessageI dident say I dident agreed with the defense budget, I was the one who proposed it. What I said was that after the war we can reduce the budget and our government spending. As for science and transportation the LLP think we should privatise alot of it, especially science so it will become more independent of our government and its shifting political focus

MessageThe LP agrees with you on the science and transportation part. Maybe we can create a bill in the future to deal with that. The main part of this bill is the tax rates. That is the part we should work out.

Messagewell the LLP has always been for low taxes, let our citizens keep most of what they earn themself. What we would like to see is a flat tax rate being as low as possible but enough so that we keep a 4-5 billion LOD budget surplus incase of emergencies. Also remember the rich and upper middle class are being taxed through the luxury tax too (the poor dont buy luxury) so a flat income tax in addition to the luxury tax would be fair

MessageI think a flat tax rate is not beneficial for the country's economy. If, for example, we lower the taxes to 9%, we are going to lose a lot of revenue from the upper-class. If we increase the taxes to 13%, the lower class will suffer. So, it is a good idea, but impossible to accomplish. The luxury tax will never make up for that loss of revenue.

MessageIf we lower the defense budget after the war and dont increase any of the other budget posts we can afford lowering the taxes for everyone

MessageBecause the LLP have always wanted to keep taxes as low as possible. We dont like corporation tax becouse we belive it slows down corporations growth, and we would oppose taxes for the poor equally much as taxes on the middle and upper class. We belive the working people of our nation should be able to keep as much of there hard earned money as possible for themself
