MessageIt's quite rediculous for the DWP to be proposing the removal of a bill which has just been passed. Undemocratic aswell. This is boring, are the DWP going to be proposing reversing every bill that gets passed in this Convocation?

MessageThe CLP sems to think that reversing previously passed legislation is somehow bad and undemocratic?

We assume, then - that the CLP wil not be attempting to change ANY laws in Likatonia. Their reputation vis-a-vis hypocrisy is on the line.

MessageIt doesn't seem unreasonable, to us, to see conflicting legislation being presented in the Convocation. It is in the interests of democracy that differing viewpoints be presented to the ministers.

MessageYes but you can vote against the bills without proposing the same bill opposing it.

MessageWHile this is true, that is a response to an issue, rather than being, necessarily, a statement of intent.

If the CLP wished to introduce a law - for example - that banned gay marriage, the AM SuDP would oppose it. Indeed - we might go so far as to introduce legislation that specifically aimed to create a cpnsitutional protection for gay marriage, so as to make it additionally difficult for the CLP to push the same legislation again.

Voting against the CLP bill would have been a response. Creating the 'pro-Gay Marriage' bill would have been a statement of intent.

MessageClearly the CLP have no regrets whatsoever for helping, along with their imperialist allies in the NF, to cause the biggest diplomatic crisis this nation has seen in decades, if not centuries. The CLP would be in equal parts as guilty as the NF and the sabre-rattling Parties of the Lodamese Parliament for any future ethnic cleansing in Rapula that may come as a result of this crisis.

If the CLP still fail to understand this, then we do not really understand why they are bothering to participate in any of the diplomatic dialogue whatsoever. And furthermore, if they have such a problem with the operations of Convocation, then it would seem bemusing as to why they have any interest in participating in this, either.

MessageLodamun start ethnic cleansing our people and the DWP take to pop-corn, other parties such as the CLP will take to weapons when our people are about to be forcefully removed from their homes.
