Message | We have moderately low unemployment rates and I'd like to keep it that way |

Message | Well I don't believe we're getting as much out of professional workers as we could be. These people are much more productive than newbies just entering the work force. This proposal allows 5 extra years of high productivity, the key to growth. |

Message | It is not a mandate that every 55 year old worker has to retire. The ones contributing to growth knowing that they are able to continue will likely do so. And the workers who feel as if they have reached their peaks, on the downswing, and not willing to work anymore will accept retirement at 55. New workers will be brought in and trained. I believe that's where the growth comes from. |

Message | I disagree. Even with job training a new worker will not be as productive as an older one with say, 20 years more experience. I don't believe anyone becomes less productive or has reached their peak under 60. This proposal will also make it less likely that we will suffer the negative effects of an aging population and will reduce the costs of public sector pensions. |

Message | The government should not be setting retirement ages in the first place. I don't know where we ever got off thinking that was the job of the government. Seems to be that is up to personal choice and financial ability. |
