| The Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica nation, on our southern border with Migadon, is attempting to annex portions of other nations to create another Greater Likatonia (see http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Greater_Likatonia for their previous attempt). They previously wished to annex Migadon from Telamon as part of this process. As such we must be ready to once again defend Telamon. It is our duty to protect our citizens and resist any and all attempts by the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica nation or its agents from taking anything that rightfully belongs to Telamon. Should the invader come to Telamon, there will be no placid lying down of the people in submission before him. We will defend every village, every town, and every city. The vast mass of Ferescia itself, fought street by street, could easily devour an entire hostile army, and we would rather see Ferescia laid in ashes and ruins than that it should be tamely and abjectly enslaved. As such we propose the following. 1. The President is authorized to mobilize our armed forces and to send them to Migadon, or any other part of Telamon proper, to defend our nation from any invader. 2. The President does not need to wait on an official declaration of war from Parliament to mobilize the military in defense of Telamon in regards to the Greater Likatonia situation. 3. The military budget will be increased to an appropriate level to fund any and all necessary military costs associated with the defense of Telamon from any invader wishing to create Greater Likatonia. 4. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ordered to initiate talks with other nations, subject to invasion as victims of Greater Likatonia, with the long term goal of a new joint defense treaty or renewal of the Anti-Likatonia Defensive Treaty (see http://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Anti-Likatonia_Defensive_Treaty). 5. All ministries and other officials, up to and including the President and Prime Minister, are to report back to Parliament on their progress unless otherwise stated in this bill. 6. If the situation escalates additional defensive measures will be implemented by Parliament and other appropriate Telamon authorities. 7. We will do everything necessary, within reason, to avoid war but if war comes to Telamon we will defend her at all costs. |

| Message | As part of the 7th proposition it is our belief that a mutual non-aggression pact with Likatonia must be approached prior to any join defense treaties.
