MessageThe Federal Republican League would not endorse such a measure. It is our parties belief that the local governments can operate such affairs better than an already bloated federal government. Furthermore, local governments better understand regional needs and affairs versus the federal government which assuredly has better items to attend to than public housing policy on a national level.

MessageThe United Democratic Party tends to agree with the Federal Republican League on this issue. We are concerned that the federal government might not be as well-equipped as local governments to handle the housing situation. On a federal level, people would be treated more as a number; whereas on a local level, those in need could get the attention and care that they are in such dire need of.

As it stands, we are not likely to support this bill; however, feel free to change our minds.
