Bill: Lift the ban to the private clinics
Details
Submitted by[?]: Aliojin Party SC
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2111
Description[?]:
We believe that the State should not monopolize all the social services because this can generate enormous burocracy and inefficiency. So even though we are socialist we think that the private clinics will encourage the state to be more dinamyc and also to invest more in technology |

Message | That is true, the government must regulate the private clinics. We do not want to take down the current public health care, just to allow the people choose what they want and increase the medical research (both, sponsored by the private sector as the public sector). |

Message | We oppose, these private clinics will create a two-tier health service in which the rich can simply opt to buy a better standard of healthcare. Health should be based on need for it, not wealth. |

Message | This is a step in the right direction, so I will support this bill. |

Message | OCC: Sometimes a completely public health care system doesn't work out. I live in Canada and we can see that here. Although we still have a public system here, it is inevitable that small private clinics will spring up. Unless you want to increase taxes dramatically in order to fund it? |

Message | Our excellent universal healthcare has barely been in existance for a year, so we are puzzled to see why the PLC has changed its mind. The new system is obviously popular, as the parties that supported it saw election gains. As such, we see absolutely no reason to turn our backs on the advanced level of care we provide all citizens of the Sultanate. |

Message | One more and last thing, why we have an optional private pension and private clinics are banned? |

Random quote: On 7th February 4281 a group of renowned Metzist experts from all across Terra met in Haldor to form the International Committee for the Estimation of the End Date of Capitalism (ICEEDC). With the assistance of a powerful computer, they calculated that capitalism will terminate Terra-wide on 6th November 4320, and in Dorvik on April 17th 4310. We have no reason whatsoever to believe these very eminent and learned scholars are wrong. They have never been wrong about anything before. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
