MessageWhile the Autocratic Nationalist Front respectfully agrees with Article 2 and 3, we take issue with the wording of Article 1 and might not be able to support this bill as is. We find that the age at which people begin smoking is already in line with the age of adult hood and limiting those few who purchase tobacco products before then for whatever motives is unjust and unfounded.

MessageThe NZP agrees with Article 1 but is in strong opposition to articles 2 and 3. We believe free public health care and free or discounted contraceptives are an extremly good and healthy thing.

MessageRespectfully,

To our respected colleagues perhaps clarification is in order. To the esteemed N.Z.P; it is not a right of Solentians to have healthcare provided to them. It simply is not. If you can explain to me the logic behind having everyone pay for people who have income levels above one-hundred thousand a year, of whom can afford their own private insurance or is likely provided at their workplace. Article two does not abolish a national healthcare system. It makes it more sensible, if anything. It allows us to clear an enormous burden on all Solentians paying for everyones healthcare while focusing this wealth in other areas and having a surplus to cover those unemployed or otherwise living on low-incomes.

Article 3 runs deep to the heart of our founding principals. It is not the governments job to dictate morality upon our citizens. You may have no seen it yet but, within the papers this morning it was announced a fellow legislator was implicated in a bribery scandal. We must have credibility in the government and we do not. Who are we to dictate such principals upon children. It is the parents job, not the governments.

Onto our respected and newly formed party, first off-welcome to Solentia; we the F.R.P. looks forward to working with you. We can understand your concerns about Article 1's language, as it does cause alarm with some of our own senior party members. However, the F.R.P. has studied this thoroughly and found that such a regulation on the sale to minors of tobacco will in aggregate do our nation a favor. Minors who are going to smoke, are going to smoke with or without a law-we all know this. It is also known that smoking is a plague upon our health and is costing our nations countless amounts of money on healthcare of smoking-related illness. At best this measure serves as a deterent and a friendly way to induce parents to explain the consequences of picking up such an atrocious habit. Also, in full disclosure I, Ulrich Naveed, am a smoker and am in support of this measure.

Respectfully,
Signed,
Party Chairman, Ulrich Naveed

MessageThe United Democratic Party is in full agreement... concerning Article 1. Push this article by itself in the future, and you have our immediate support. We have been trying to get this accomplished unsuccessfully for some time now.

Concerning Article 3, we are not particularly against our government providing free contraceptives, but we also do not see a need for this. Ultimately, we could support you in this proposal, as well.

Unfortunately, we draw the line concerning healthcare. The United Democratic Party is a long-time supporter of universal healthcare. We have heard your arguments and we respect them deeply, but our minds are made up and we will not support this in any fashion.

We have nothing but the utmost respect for the Federal Republican Party. We admire their efforts at bipartisanship and we look forward to a future alongside them. For this reason, we hope that Chairman Naveed and other party leaders can understand our difficult position.

In the event that this legislation does not pass, PLEASE re-submit Articles 1 and 3 and you have our support.

Respectfully,
Party Chairman, President Hillary Rodham

MessageYoung people are naive and impressionable and we cannot expect them to fully accept and understand the effects of tobacco. It is only decent to prevent minors from purchasing tobacco products. If they want them, then they'll still be permitted to have their parents buy cigarettes for them.

We reiterate to our esteemed colleage Ulrich Naveed: Remove Article 2 and propose it separately, and you have our full support on Articles 1 and 3.

MessageThe Autocratic Nationalist Front would support this bill in it's entirety, and would even be in support to a more restrictive version of Article 2 as we feel it is not the nations responsibility to maintain the health and welfare of the lazy, unmotivated, and uncaring members of our populace, few though they are.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.
