Message | This bill is unneccessary as there is no need for price regulation if there is competition in the private sector. If two companies provide energy and one charges less than the other, consumers will choose the option which is cost effective. However, if there is a monopoly on the energy industry for electrical power, water, and gas, this bill would be effective. |

Message | This is what happens on this types of industry. The bigger company will drop the prices so low that it will force the smaller companies to go out of business, and thus promoting a monopoly. This legislation will provide a set price that the companies may not go below it. The other options is to seat back and wait for monopolies to form. |

Message | Since the state gives monetary support to failing companies who provide a vital service, and electrical power, water, and gas is considered vital services, this bill is not needed |

Message | If you dident get the point with the last message it is that since we help failing companies get back up on there feet we will have more than one company providing each of those services |

Message | This bill does not have anything to do with helping failing companies. For the explanation of what this bill does read the second post of this discussion. |

Message | We are by law required to give monetary assistance to failing companies, and by doing so we prevent a monopoly because if of the companies offering such a service almost go out of buisness we will help them back on track. On a more general matter the LLP dosent really mind a monopoly in general, we see it as a consequence of a free market. We also belive that no monopoly will stay forever because in a free market there will alwas start up new companies that will offer those services |
