We, the Convocation of the Axis Mundi Likatonian Res Publica, hereby formally and properly, propose an unconditional peace with our neighbours of the United Republics of Lodamun. Recognising that many atrocities have been committed in the names of both countries in this war, we urge the Parliament of Free Peoples to pass a reciprocal motion, acknowledging the cessation of all hostilities between our nations, and condemning those guilty of war crimes in the name of whomsoever. We, the People of Likatonia, announce freely and gladly that the traitorous war criminals of Likatonia have been removed from power. We extend our thanks to every nation, assembly, leader, party, union, organisation and individual who helped us in achieving this eventual peace. |

Message | "We, the People of Likatonia, announce freely and gladly that the traitorous war criminals of Likatonia have been removed from power. " On the contrary the GLNF held the Ministry of Foreign Affairs throughout and the Defence Ministry recently. They provided unconditional support for the project throughout. Only with their support could people like James Turner and General Bobby Johnson be given power and guns. Just because the CLP were the intellect (naturally) and the face of the project, doesn't mean all responsibility rests with us. If the most successful government in Likatonia's history happen to be "traitorous war criminals of Likatonia", then the DWP and co. are happy to sit in power with the engineers of that project. |

Message | It is our understanding that there has recently been a schism in the GLNF, and that none of the perpetrating Nationalists are to play any part in the forthcoming Unity Cabinet. |

Message | In point of fact, any and all members of the GLNF are willing to testify in any war crimes trials, even if it means implicating themselves or the party. |

Message | All we want for peace is that Likatonia, as the agressor, help pay for the rebuilding of Zaphograd and clearing the nuclear mess from the nuke you launched at Charlesbourg. We will offcourse help pay to clear up the nuclear mess we made at Tiorovsk. We also think we should both sign a non agression treaty as a step to try and prevent future wars between us Signed Olav Craig, Lodamuns Minister of Foreign Affairs. |

Message | small update on the last thing. Since it was your demands for a colony in Rapula that started this thing, and because you guys invaded our territory while we never crossed into yours we would like a appology from your government for invading our country and starting the whole ethnic cleasing part of the war |

Message | Small update for the LLI - your weapons most assuredly did enter Likatonian territory... unless we are supposed to assume that the Tiorovsk Incident was a mass hallucination? |

Message | The LLP already acknowledged Tiorovsk "We will offcourse help pay to clear up the nuclear mess we made at Tiorovsk." But their troops never crossed the Likatonian border - they were simply no match for the Likatonian military. |

Message | "...we never crossed into yours..." Only true if one takes an incredibly narrow view of what constitutes incursion. |

Message | We sent one rocket and some artillery shells into your side of the boarder. I wouldnt call that an incursion because we never had any naval, air, or army units actually crossing the boarder. If that is an incredibly narrow view of what consitiutes and incursion, then please make the case for that |

Message | You were responsible for over 1 million Likaton deaths within Likatonia... |

Message | So - if Likatonia decides to resume conflict, but ONLY uses remote shelling and indirect rocketry, the Lodamun Libertarian Party will consider that to be a different thing to if we actually allowed troops to cross the border? Military units are military units. A rocket and artillery are still military units. There's nothing conflicted about that view. Where would the LLP place remote control drones? Incursion or non-incursion? We have the technology to wage a war without ever dropping a single Likatonian foot in Lodamunm, using remotely operated machineries of war, and remotely targetted support fire. Apparently, the LLP wouldn't consider that incursive. We await your response, LLP - future generations on both sides of the Likaton/Lodamun border may one day praise or curse your name, depending upon it. |

Message | From Lodamun Libertarian Party To Debating the Updates on Likatonia-Lodamun Situation September 2549 Announcement from the Government of the United Republics of Lodamun After hearing new of the cowardly chemical attack the Lodamun Special Forces was ordered to capture the renegade general. ****Under the cover of night the special forces succesfully captured General Bobby Johnson and took him safely into Lodamun territory where he will await trial in the next few days.**** Also the 9th Division was ordered to attack the base of General Johnsons Milita. Assisted by the 3rd bomber squadron the battle was a quick one. All of the milita was killed, therby eradicating all Likatonian military presence in Rapula. The 5th army has been ordered to the boarder towards Likatonia. There is now 3 whole armies defending the boarder. *****Also the 2nd air fleet has bombed Likatonian military positions in Sorbanika over the last 3 days as a reprisal to the chemical attack. No reports on the damage of the attack has surfaced at this time.***** In a statement, the minister fo foreign affairs, Olav Craig, strongly condemned the Likatonian supported genocide of Lodamun people, saying that this just shows how despicable the methods that Likatonia will go to in order to clean out Rapula of its Likatonian majority and called upon the whole world to condemn the attack and help the survivors of the attack. Signed, the Government of the United Republics of Lodamun |

Message | Our thanks to the GLNF - it looks like the Lodamese are trying to play down the facts a little - that looks like there have been SEVERAL distinct incursions, and not the 'occasional artillery and one rocket' that certain Lodamese apologists seem to claim. Well, Lodamun, we await your... response? |

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist. |
Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower |
