Bill: Corporation Tax Cut
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partisans And Artisans League
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2112
Description[?]:
The present level of tax on corporate profit is excessive and discourages internal investment. The PAL believes that it should be lowered to stop foreign investment going elsewhere. We believe that any rate of tax above 20% is inappropriate, however, so this crippling situation is relieved - even slightly - we are willing to compromise with parties which may take a more regulatory stance and lower it to 30%. We believe this 15% drop will be enough to take some of the pressure off private companies but we will, in the future, be pushing for further reductions. |

Message | Christ, even Thatcher had higher corporation tax than that. If we had passed the Proletariat Freedom Act, giving power to the workers, then we wouldn't need to depend on foreign investment to put our men and women into jobs. |

Message | Yes but Thatcher was lowering tax from ridiculous levels. She wasdoing the best she could with a horrendous economy. |
