Bill: Act for the Increased Availability of Contraceptives and Medical Freedoms

Details

Submitted by[?]: New-Revolutionary Communist Party (NRCP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2552

Description[?]:

A woman's reproductive rights are never inconsequent. It should be every person's choice whether or not to give birth, especially in cases of rape or accidental conception.
The availability of contraceptives, especially for young people, should be increased significantly - how are we to combat the problems of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and unwanted children if we charge people who sensibly opt to use adequate protection? That is entirely the wrong message to give to our citizens over their inalienable right to copulation and sexual relations in safety.

The NRCP urges all members who value their own medical and sexual freedoms to back this bill.

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation.

Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower
