MessageThe appointment of mayors currently allows us to provide a more equal governance for our people, and prevents corrupt mayors from tainting our citizens private enterprises.

In line with our doctrine, I must currently decline....though my mind may change in the future.

MessageWe support this measure because it is the people of those respective communities who can best decide what issues are most important and need resolution and should democratically elect and hold accountable their mayors. Furthermore, its an unnecessary and time consuming burden for the national government to appoint the Mayors of each and every locality, it makes room for cronyism and corruption.

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "Poetry is about the grief; politics is about the grievance." - Robert Frost
