Message | If a youth is willing to work for less than the minimum wage, and the employer does not wish to employ that individual at this lower wage, there will be more unemployment. This provision does not force companies to pay higher wages. It makes them more selective. That means the least productive members of our society will not be receiving any wages. Look at the bulk of economic literature. Minimum wage creates unemployment. |
