Message | Here's my take, child benefit is necessary whether or not people are poor. If you have a child you could easily spend hundreds of thousands of LOD to raise a child. Even if you make double what the average person makes, thats a lot. Everyone is selfish to some extent. Those with money don't want to lower there lifestyle; those without money can't afford it. See my drift? You need to encourage people to raise children, otherwise there are too many retired people and not enough people to pay taxes and the lot. Which can lead to depression. I'm not saying you should be married and have 6 kids! But raising a child, especially a child without parents in the form of adoption is important. I experienced much of this first hand when I was little (Little-er, I don't consider myself old). |
