MessageWhy would we reduce corporate tax burdens after the CLP have spent so much money on the military?

The CLP numebrs don't add up - you can't SPEND without TAXING.

MessageWe find it difficult to argue with economic criminals like the SuDJ. but we believe that by reducing corporation tax, it will stimulate investment by the private sector. the increased economic activity will lead to increased income for the government.

MessageHow are the SUD 'economic criminals'? We don't hold the finance department, and rarely are involved in 'economic' affairs.

While the CLP idea of 'stimulating investment' is cute, it's unrealistic and fails to deal with the economic downturn we have right now.

MessageJust as we dislike the constant desire to push everything to local governemt, we also struggle to see the benefits of moving everything towards the private sector.

1, 4, 7, and 8 we would support.
2, 3, 9 and 10 we would maybe negotiate around

5, 6, and 11...we don't like.

If the Bill was re-proposed, we would probably stomach a couple we'd prefer to negotiate, and even one or two wqe don't like, just to get the others through, but this package, as a whole, we can't stomach.

MessageWe refuse to give an up or down vote on this kind of nonsense. It's not a coherent platform, and it's definitely NOT what the CLP claim.... we're not going to 'put the economy right' by removing the protection for adoption children that screening for a history of abuse would allow.
