Message | Regarding Article 1, we have worked with the Federal Rupublican Party just recently to pass the current legislation. To ask for trading rights in return for help just seems greedy. Concerning Article 2, the U.D.P. does not have an extreme opinion on this issue, but we lean toward the current law. |

Message | While it is the opinion of the UDP to say it seems greedy to expect some sort of compensation from needy countries, this article isn't asking for a return on loans or goods. Merely an explicit right to trade with said country. With some countries we may be aiding we potentially already have open trade with, while still others might not have any goods in which our consumers are interested in. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
