| While the Malivian people can count on the state to help them with a basic safety net in times of trouble, we cannot continue to support people who are unwilling, but able to, to work. These Malivians are a drain government resources, the resources provided by their fellow Malivians who choose to work and support the state and not make the state support them. These unwilling worker should be able to depend on the government to help them find a job and help them out in a rough month or two but never longer then that. |

Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.

Proposed: The state offers a voluntary public pension, combined with other voluntary private pensions.
