Bill: Refusal to Recognise the Presidency of Alan Reynolds in Kanjor
Details
Submitted by[?]: Royal Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2111
Description[?]:
Following the diplomatic threats bandied about by President Alan Reynolds of Kanjor, I hereby propose that the government of Lodamun withdraw recognition of the aforementioned President. In doing so, the government of Lodamun will withdraw all embassies, trade missions and any other form of official government presence (be they diplomatic, political, economical or otherwise) within Kanjor. These missions shall not be re-established until Alan Reynolds is removed from the Presidency of Kanjor - once this occurs we can recognise the Kanjor presidency again. |

Message | Kanjor's announcement: May 2110 Announcement from the Government of the Kanjor Republic This press message was released by the Government of the Kanjor Republic. Alan Reynolds is President of Kanjor again. Everyone who plotted agasint us from lodumon to Telamon to Guridos and Alduria, must accept the will of the Kanjoran people. Signed, the Government of the Kanjor Republic --- Now, we are not sure what Guridos may be, but we feel the removal of our diplomatic staff and non-recognition of Reynolds is an appropriate response. The statement almost amounts to a declaration of war, so we are well justified in refusing to recognize the Reynolds regime, which mis-uses the word "freedom" so badly. |

Message | The Government of Gaduridos herby declares that Alan Reynolds is a commiter of war crimes and is not the legitamite leader of the nation of Kanjor. He has escaped from his trial, and deserves another. If he is not brought back to trial, military action WILL be brought against the nation of Kanjor. Patrick B. Mooney Philosopher of Gaduridos |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
