Message | We implore the conservative parties to see that government is too intrusive into the regulation of foreign trade. We must allow foreign invesment, as we are falling behind the rest of the world in international trade. We are one of seven nations that does not as a nation allow some form of foreign investment. Although we recognize that trade must be regulated, we believe the country's current policy on foreign trade is communist. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | We are usually going to support federalism in a bill, because we believe local governments with federal funding have a better chance to actually get things done, on a local level, but we will support this form of unified legislation for foreign investment specifically. Message | Although we fully recognize the benefits of a federalist system, we recognize the role of the central government as the regulator of trade and supreme authority regarding national security. Given that this bill directly relates to trade, we strongly believe that it is the role of the National government to intervene. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | We can support this as long as the long term goal is to prevent foreign investors period. We do not want any alien to have a say in the happenings of Telamon. Unfortunately, aliens can currently invest and hold a majority of shares in Telamonian companies if the local governments so decide. -Roger Evars, COM Party Leader |
