| Message | Article 1 is meant to prevent overt homosexuality in the military. We honestly believe that in its overt form, it is not conducive to success, which is what the military is there for. Affirmative action does not belong in the military. Homosexuals would still be free to join the military, they would just be expected to be discrete about it. Article 2 is there so that the NLP can change the law concerning women in the military in the future. Women should not serve alongside men in the military, they should wither be in separate units, or confined to non-combat roles. The NLP belives in an effective Endralonian military, not ncessarily a politically correct one. |

| Message | So by your logic, would you prevent straight male soldiers from discussing their sexuality too? Would you prevent THEM from talking about the women they love? That would be no more "conducive to success" than the discussion of homosexual relationships. There is nothing shameful or harmful about homosexuality, under any circumstances, in the military or anywhere else. There is no reason why women should not serve alongside men in the military, this isn't the 50's. Women have more than proven themselves capable of everything which society had deemed impossible for them not too long ago. If a woman receives the same training as a man, and thus proves herself competent, then there is no reason why she cannot fight alongside male soldiers. This is the military, it is the defense of our nation, there is no room for chauvinism or homophobia. if a person, male, female, gay, straight or otherwise wants to risk their life for their country, then they should be allowed to do so. Simple as. The straight male is in no way superior to any other social group, so why should they be treated otherwise? If a straight man would rather not serve alongside a homosexual, or a woman,a fellow citizen of his country, then he should not join the armed forces. |

We are concerned that recruitment suffers, especially in the navy, because straight males, being the largest source of recruits in Endralon, are made uncomfortable by open sexuality in military situations. We don't want women fighting alongside men for two reasons: physiology and distraction. Please listen to our arguments, rather than assigning labels like chauvanist or homophobe. We are merely taking into account the homophobia of others in advocating this policy. |

That could really get dangerous, beautiful women in the passenger could cause accidents, from now on, men and women and cannot ride in cars together! |
