Message | I read the description and thought it was the PPP. Its not personal, we vote together 21% of the time, which means your party is my direct opposition. Besides, anything with over 50% of the legislature is overkill anyway. |

Date | 21:35:13, April 02, 2008 CET | From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the United Cabinet |
Message | I suggest that the terms of coalition are : a fair number of seats for all members of the coalition, negotiation on monachy, etc. |

Message | Anyone who agrees to support Restoration of Zog as monarch can be included in any PPP cabinet. Everything else is negotiable. There is a great deal of flexibility regarding these other matters, but we shan't be railroaded either... some compromise can and will occur. |

Message | Anyone who willingly supports the institution of giving any one party totalitarian control of the government is foolish, as is this proposal. That is exactly what a monarchy is: totalitarian control. You may be able to pass a government that excludes me, but you will NEVER have enough seats to be able to re-establish the monarchy, as long as me, Tax and Spend and the NMRP exist. And I ask anyone in the Zog coalition this, why would you ever settle for “Food and Agriculture” when you could be head of state? Its not You will simply never have 2/3 of the votes. So rather then focus on a pipe dream, I instead focus on create a cabinet of parties that are similar to mine, and vote similar to me, but yet somehow that means that I should not be included in a "united cabinet"? In the last election, 1 out of every 4 Beluzians voted for me. I won the presidential election by almost 10% and 20 million votes. And yet when I fail to include a party that banned cars and mandates killing the old and sick, somehow I am worthy of being excluded from the cabinet. When I don’t attack our neighbors, I deserve a vote of no confidence, despite the fact that as the Defense Minister and the Commander in Chief of the Beluzian Armed Forces I was not even consulted first? That’s not what my party stands for now, will it ever be what my party stands for. You may have a cabinet coalition, but the PPP and BNP vote with the ZSRA 40% of the time and with me around 60% of the time. My legislation will still get passed, and this country will still be a free, better place as long as I am on watch. If it comes down to it, someday, much sooner then the day that you have 2/3 of the legislature, I will have a coalition of 50% of the liberals and will be back in the cabinet. Just remember that you may win now, but I will win later. |

Message | Monarchy is not totalitarian, the constution bars it. |
Date | 16:11:04, April 03, 2008 CET | From | Beluzian Defense and Federalist Party | To | Debating the United Cabinet |
Message | Monarchy prevents the people from electing a head of state and rather gives them one we so choose… |
Date | 16:14:50, April 03, 2008 CET | From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the United Cabinet |
Message | Well not exactly, the people have to elect that person in the first place. With our current Referendum the people are fully aware that if they elect Zog they are voting in favour of monarchy. |
Date | 16:59:40, April 03, 2008 CET | From | Beluzian Defense and Federalist Party | To | Debating the United Cabinet |
Message | So if the people really want Zog to rule the country then there is no reason a monarchy is necessary. I have much less of a problem with Zog running the country, than with the fact that is there would be no check on his power if he were monarch. |
Date | 17:02:36, April 03, 2008 CET | From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the United Cabinet |
Message | A constitutional monarch doesnt have the power of the High Chancellor, or a President. Power is usually exercised through the Cabinet Ministers. |
