Bill: Fire Department Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Socialist Green Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2557
Description[?]:
It has come to our attention that there is currently a competitive firefighting subcontractings scheme. This makes no sense as contractors could spend their day starting suspicious fires then putting them out so there needs to be a national firefighting service in place that allows all Rutanians the right to protection with regards to fire as opposed to the current scheme which cannot be regulated |
Proposals
Article 1

Old value:: The government competitively subcontracts firefighting services.
Current: Fire prevention and management is left to the local governments.
Proposed: Fire prevention and management is left to the local governments.

Date | 05:32:41, April 05, 2008 CET | From | Federal Rutanian Libertarian Union | To | Debating the Fire Department Act |
Message | We do not, we find that private companies would not partake in such blatant criminal activity and if they do the market, consumers and other firms would not participate nor use that company no longer. We will not support any bill that provides for massive increases in government spending where it is not necessary. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
