Message | <stern look, hands on hips, taps foot on floor> The budget is serious business, not to be trifled with on a whim. We've developed this budget over the course of decades. We're a bit steamed at the apparent implicit assertion that our established budget figures are wholly arbirtary. They're not. All of them were arrived at after careful consideration of Aloria's budget needs in each area. The Finance Ministry just called for a budget review by the Ministry heads. We'd find it more than welcome for all parties to participate and comment on budget allocation recommendations there, rather than submitting massive budget overhauls willy-nilly. Thank you, and if you'd like our party's vote on future budgets, you'll take that well under advisement. --Finance Minister Trinity Star, to the Liberal Party MP who submitted the Budget Proposal of December 2556. |

Random quote: "The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. When in a state of security he does not forget the possibility of ruin. When all is orderly, he does not forget that disorder may come. Thus his person is not endangered, and his States and all their clans are preserved." - Confucius |
