Message | Nuclear energy is sufficient that it can provide our power costs without pillaging the environment. It is of a nature in which it can be used for multiple purposes, safely, and efficiently. With a minimum of facilities we can power our entire nation instead of relying on dirty power. Renewable energy is a much and nuclear power is an efficient and clean alternative to dirty fuel. -Roger Evars, COM Party Leader |

Message | Nuclear power produces tons upon tons of nuclear waste that is radioactive for at least 20,000 years. We do not support nuclear power for this reason only. We would have to allocate places to put the nuclear waste, and the waste cannot even be handled regularly until after 20,000 - 60,000 years. |
Date | 07:38:23, April 07, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Ordo Malleus (COM) | To | Debating the Reverse Power Reform Act of 2556 |
Message | The byproduct of nuclear power can potentially be used in other ways that we don't even know. Concern over the environment is valid, and one we share, but the benefits outweigh any concerns. The worst case scenario is to form a treaty with another nation to export the byproduct for their usage and disposal. Telamon has relied on nuclear power for decades without negative side effects. That is a testament to its usefulness. Also, safer allocation of nuclear byproducts can be hoisted onto the power companies. They can bear the costs associated with that. If producing safer internment is a stipulation to the usage of nuclear power the power companies will surely come up with a suitable result. We should give them the chance. -Roger Evars, COM Party Leader |

Message | Since we can all agree that there is an environmental concern at stake, we believe that reliance on nuclear power is imprudent. Given our heavy level of investment in alternative energies, we are confident that the power produced by nuclear plants can be otherwise covered. Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer. |
