OOC:This is an RP bill (requires 2/3rds support)

This is a bill to end all power given to the Imperial family. Although they keep official leadership of the nation, they are stripped of power beyond their representation and their historical owned lands. This will include retraction of this bill: Restoration of the Imperial Tribunal.

The royal family will join the other Hulstrian aristocratic families in terms of power.

MessageErm perhaps the APC would like the we don't bother the read the bill that restored the monarchy as seen here:

We note that the Imperial Family, beyond their power as private citizens in areas of business, hold only ceremonial power, with the popularly elected Lord Protector holding all government authority. And for the Imperial Tribunal, we note the Monarch appoints jurers, on the advice of the Lord Protector, however since we realize the APC hasn't been in politics very long and therefore doesn't know what wording like that means, we will explain. The power vested in the monarch to appoint judges is ceremonial the Lord Protector nominates the candidates and the monarch appoints them unless some major issue can be found.

We therefore ask the APC to stop wasting the Diet's time with their pointless bills to limit the ceremonial power of the monarchy.

MessageWe are not wasting time any more then those ceremonial powers you cling to so dearly do. We were fully aware of the bill which restored the monarchy, yet feel that these powers, though perhaps quite meaningless now, have the full potential for abuse by a monarch with any ambition. Though even this point is little in comparison to the vast wastes of time invested to granting the monarchy its every whim and having it rubber-stamp every major government decision. It is unnecessary, and as such, ridiculous.

Random fact: Real life-life nationalities, cultures or ethnicities should not be referenced in Particracy (eg. "German").

Random quote: "No one today can afford to be innocent, or indulge himself in ignorance of contemporary governments, politics and social orders. The national polities of the modern world maintain their existence by deliberately fostered craving and fear: monstrous protection rackets. The 'free world' has become economically dependent on a fantastic system of stimulation of greed which cannot be fulfilled, sexual desire which cannot be satiated and hatred which has no outlet except against oneself, the persons one is supposed to love, or the revolutionary aspirations of pitiful, poverty-stricken marginal societies like Cuba or Vietnam. The conditions of the Cold War have turned all modern societies - communist included - into vicious distorters of man's true potential." - Gary Snyder
