Message | And you remove the rights for woman, religious, foreigners and homosexuals. Even encourage discrimination. I encourage everyone to vote this down, and i belive they will anyway. But still i really want to hear your argument for this. |

Message | Well I'll go step by step: Article 1 does not discriminate against anyone, it simply removes useless government oversight from military recruitment. The government should not actively enforce misguided affirmative action policies on the military. Article 1 simply says that if the military wants to recruit certain people it can, but if it decides not to, it can do that as well. No one has objected to Article 2, but it is the position of the Christian Falangist Party that the free-market approach is always the better one. If the government ceases interfering in the defense industry, there's no telling what kind of innovations the private sector will be able to come up with. Article 3 is perfectly reasonable (in fact this policy is practiced by many of Terra's nations and endorsed by many of its parties). The Christian Falangist Party does not believe that the military is the place for social experiments. On the other hand if this policy is too objectionable, we would be willing to compromise and remove this provision in favor of a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. As for Article 4, the CFP believes that women and men have distinct gender roles and are not designed for the same tasks. We would not restrict them from serving in the military, we simply don't want them in combat situations. |

Message | We support the don't ask, don't tell policy, but the other articles are too extreme. |
