Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 2558
Description[?]:
As Sekowo has the 5th weakest economy in Terra (based on GDP), we need to boost the economy by creating more jobs through given greater incentive for companies to offer more jobs and for Sekowans to keep more money in their pockets to spend. In 2548 (http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=180966), we reduced taxes and we moved up but we are still 4th weakest GDP per capita in Terra. 10 years later, we should do this tax reduction again to create jobs and give business reason to invest in Sekowo. Current surplus: 7,489,101,645 SEK Corporation Tax: ---------------------- @30% = 11,867,467,035 SEK @ 1% = 395,582,235 SEK @25% = 9,889,555,863 SEK Diff. Corp. = 1,977,911,172 SEK Sales Tax ------------- @15% = 34,117,669,511 SEK @ 1% = 2,274,511,301 SEK @13% = 29,568,646,910 SEK Diff. Sales = 4,549,022,601 SEK Surplus Difference ------------------------- Diff. Corp. + Diff Sales = 6,526,933,773 SEK Remaining Surplus = Current Surplus - Surplus Difference = 962,167,872 SEK As the economy of Sekowo grows, we can expect even greater growth potential thus giving a better standard of living to our people. |

Message | USMC, we have to spend this surplus. Either through more programs or lower the tax burden. No point collecting what we won't use. Suggest changes to the ministry spendings if you want to see the surplus spent otherwise. |

Message | What surplus? We're already in debt as it is, since we spend more then we take in, any surplus we may have had is gone by now. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag |
