Bill: Market Liberalisation Reforms
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2559
Description[?]:
These reforms would liberalise the market, and are part of 'The Liberal Budget Plan' that I promised on coming to the position of Finance Minister. I urge Telamon, with its history of reluctance to accept liberal reform and distrust of the market, to embrace these reforms for the better. I can guarantee that they are the most crucial cornerstones of liberalising the staid and static Telamon economy, and will greatly boost our economic potential. Fiscal conservatism is our main enemy in renevating and rejuvenating the Telamonese economy, and this Bill will be crucial, alongside taxation and spending reforms to embark on that journey. I ask for a three-line whip on this bill, and for the economic liberals -left and right- to endorse these reforms. - Fieran Goldmark - Finance Minister (Radical Party) |

Message | The Radical Party has supported legislation by the LSD it did not necessarily fully endorse, but for the sake of solidarity did so. I urge the LSD to reconsider, and support this piece of legislation, in the name of the coalition. - Fieran Goldmark - Finance Minister (Radical Party) |

Message | Regretably, we can only support article II regarding fire departments. The DCD proposed legislation to enact Article I, and so naturally will not vote to reverse it. We believe that subsidising public transport is important as an incentive which will keep more polluting cars off the road, helping to maintain a healthy air quality for our citizens among other benefits. We have stated before that we believe health care to be a concern of economic prosperity, and so will not support any measures which may implicate an increase in expense or decrease in quality of care. We believe that all those who choose to work should be guaranteed livable wages in order to provide incentive to work rather than abuse the national welfare system. Message | We would support a bill of articles 1, 3, and 5, simply because we support the Radical Party, and believe in cooperation if they believe in the results of this bill. If the Radical Party calls for the LSD to vote yes to the bill as it is, we will vote yes in the name of liberal cooperation. |

Message | Although we voted in favor of the current law as stated in Article III, we will support this bill as a gesture of good faith to the RP. James Lott Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | We will most likely seek reforms of these articles, but we will vote yes to cooperation. |

Message | On second thought, we have reviewed the alternatives for the current articles, and we do not even agree with article 3. we have to vote against this bill. |
