Bill: Provisioning Health Care and Safety for All Citizens
Details
Submitted by[?]: Utopian Anarchists Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2559
Description[?]:
As it currently stands, every citizen is on their own when it comes to health care. For the poor or disenfranchized there is no help and they may die from lack of treatment. This must end! Privatization of health care is beneficial only to the privaleged and wealthy. This bill seeks to provide equal and quality health care to all citizens. Also, the government needs to ensure that employers are providing their employees a safe place to work. Safer workplaces result in less accidents and therefore less strain on the health care system. |

Message | This bill: 1) will not end capitalism -- article 1 still allows for private health care 2) organ donation will only come from the deceased and it helps to support the free health care system 3) we must vaccinate all children to protect the whole nation -- it only takes one diseased child w/ religiously fundamental parents to start a pandemic |

Message | WHIP cannot in good conscience support article 3 which would mandate organ donation since this process may violate some personal, ethical and moral concerns. We certainly would SUPPORT such donation, but not support MANDATING it. If article 3 is removed from this bill, WHIP will vote yes. |
