Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2560
Description[?]:
The mandatory issuing of identity cards will help provide a common identification method (e.g. during voting, visiting a hospital, applying for a bank loan, etc.). Easier to ask for two pieces of I.D., easier to train employees to detect fraudulent cards and thus best to catch people trying to commit illegal activities in Sekowo. Resolution 1: ----------------- The Minister of Internal Affairs conducts a report to be compiled after 10 years of passing of this bill to see if the positive outweighs the possible bad or vice versa and present it to the Folkstamma. |

Message | DSP, it's meant to make things simpler (and cheaper) by having one high-security card to identify someone and train all government employees to detect fraud with it. Easier than teaching them to recognize 10 different cards. Also great for proof of age or when they are voting, etc. Kind of like a passport except this is for domestic. |

Message | OOC: =D How much longer must you wait till you get one? We start with a probationary license at 16 in Quebec and 17 in the rest of Canada, I think. |

Message | OOC: The United States probably wont have one within the next decade. The REAL ID Act essentially doomed it because people think that "OMG something the constitution actually says is supposed to exist but we don't like so we'll call it evil federalism!" and things like that. I do think the US needs to have a national ID card, even if it is a voluntary one. |

Message | OOC: Well, your passport sort of acts like a bulky national ID card |
