MessageThe President and Head of Government are separate for a reason

We make the Presidnet Head of Government we have to give him a key to the cabinet offices and he could lock cabinet out again.

They are separate positions to restrict the power of the President to stop him becoming a dictator

MessageDictator? Fool. That's an insult to the people. And I do say, Thompson would do hell of a better job then you. At least he would do something. Instead of just lazing around

MessageGenerally, we prefer spreading power through more people instead of fewer people. By separating the functions of the offices of PM and President, less power is concentrated into the hands of a single person.

Also gives us two "number 1 jobs" to play with, which is more fun than just one.

MessageBTW, I understand the "I'm sold" above may be seen as an insult to DSP. I didn't mean it as such, I have nothing against your party's Prime Minister.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
