Bill: CP.0079.2562 Military Budget Increase Proposal

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2563

Description[?]:

The Conservative Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Federal Commonwealth of Sekowo.

This is to beef up the protectorates which currently have weak defences. There should be no reason why we do not wish to offer our citizens maximum protection if we can afford it. We have a 3 billion SEK surplus, we can afford the 2 to reinforce our defensive systems.

MessageNot a big fan of debt but it would only take a year or so to eliminate the deficit. Our economy is strong enough. 35 then.

MessageAh. I have to propose a new bill to make this happen. I can't change it. Let's see if the other parties would support it. If we don't have enough, I won't bother wasting another Bill ID number. =)

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that.

Random quote: “The people's war isn't just a war of destruction, it is also a war of construction. We will build new facilities, new hospitals, new farms. We will seek to improve the lives of the people around us. This struggle will be as costly as the struggle against the bourgeois army, and indeed will be even more damaging to the enemy.” - Comrade X, former Hulstrian politician
