MessageAlthough we prefer Article I as it stands, the proposed change in policy is acceptable enough that our support for Article II is not overridden. We will support this bill.

MessageIt seems to me as though this "liberal" coalition that supports socialist policies is turning to the capitalist and more centrist side. We personally understood that the Radical Party and the DCD were capitalist when it came to economic policy, but we didn't understand it meant totally turning to the democratic capitalist norm, and trying to privatize very key industries. We vote no, against the "liberal" coalition.

MessageWe fully expected and anticipated an impending treachery on the part of the LSD party. They are unfaithful to their own cause, as they cannot even settle on what their cause is. Their flip-flopping stances on unitarianism vs. federalism have long plagued this coalition with the burden of a wildly inconsistent and maverick faction, unwilling to cooperate or compromise with sister parties that provided the LSD with unwavering support, even in the face of bills we were not in complete consensus with.

Let us speak for our coalition in no certain terms when we say we spit on your ignorant and misguided attacks against your liberal brethren whom have stayed true to their cause, even in the face of declining support in elections. Your party, by contrast, has wildly fluctuated on economic issues and negotiated behind closed doors with parties you have openly opposed, all in the interest of staying in power. We vote "yes" to remaining true to our doctrines and vote "no" to the power politicking of the LSD which has lead them to forfeit their supreme allegiance to the population of our great Republic of Telamon.

It was naive, nay--stupidity, on the part of your party to think that our party would lobby for anything other than a democratic capitalist norm, as the words "democratic capitalist" are included in the very title of our party. If your party is one which believes that the nationalization of higher education is a necessity in order to provide better education or a more efficient system, then your party is one that is completely ignorant to the ways of a free market economy. In fact, your party has boasted a disgusting ignorance of the science of economics in general, evident in your failure to find consistency of any sort in your economic platform.

Your party is a cancer not only to the liberal cause of this nation, but to this nation in general, as you support only your own bids for power. We hereby recognize the LSD only as an enemy of the state, an enemy of the people, and an enemy of liberty. From this day forth, we refuse to deal or negotiate with the LSD because of their unwillingness to fight for a common good. We strongly encourage not only our liberal partners, but our conservative partners as well, to accept the same unfortunate truth and refuse dealings with the treacherous fascists.

MessageI would like to ask Matt Hogan of the LSD a question.

What part of your voting history suggests liberatiarianism, and not socialism? I find this name an oxymoron, since libertarianism stresses laissez-faire capitalism, while socialism stresses the importance of state regulation. Your party's voting history only seems in line with the latter.

Perhaps I can suggest your party change its name to the Socialist Demonstration?
Or perhaps another suggestion - The Communist Party of Telamon?

Let me just say, I would rather see a Pinochet than a Stalin in power, any day.

Random fact: It usually takes up to an hour for election results to generate. During this time, the "Next Election" date is put forward a month, which is confusing. Do not worry! In a short time, the election result will generate and the "Next Election" date will then correct itself.
